I get asked this question often.

Both kombucha and water kefir are fermented probiotic drinks.
Both are fizzy and both taste delicious.
Which should I choose?
It's really down to personal preference.

Taste

Happy Belly Ferments Kombucha has been described as; refreshing, slightly appley, spritzy, low in sugar

Happy Belly Ferments Ginger Beer Flavoured Water Kefir has been described as a little spritzy, like summer with a hint of ginger, lime, elderberry and lemon.

Fermentation method

Kombucha is brewed with a SCOBY (Symbiotic Colony of Bacteria) which look a little like a jellyfish. The scoby sits on the top of the brew

Sweetness

Should I choose one over the other?
Personal preference of taste would be the main reason to choose one over the other.

Can I drink both?
Yes.
